D&B Machining was established in 1988 by two brothers, Rui and Tony Duarte. Both brothers immigrated to the United States from Angola, Africa in 1974. Rui and Tony have worked in various machine shops prior to founding D&B. Collectively bringing over 85 years of CNC machining experience to D&B, Rui and Tony set the tone at the top by having a solid background in the industry.
Originally housed in a small 1,500 square foot garage, and with only two employees, D&B has vastly expanded operations to become the premier CNC machine shop in New England. Today, D&B is proudly a minority-women owned small business with over 50 employees housed in a 35,000 square foot facility located in Cumberland, Rhode Island. Among our employees are some of the finest and most experienced machinists in New England. Our team of machinists is dedicated to delivering precision products done right the first time. Our customer’s success and satisfaction is vital to the growth of D&B Machining and keeping this in mind, our machinists work with pride and dedication to exceed customer expectations. Working in conjunction with our excellent machinists, our engineering department uses Master CAM and Solidworks to develop programs that run our latest CNC equipment. With the aid of a full E2 Shoptech MRP System specifically designed for machine shops, parts flow smoothly and efficiently throughout our facility in order to satisfy customers demands on time.
D&B Machining is committed to providing customers with products that exceed expectations for quality and delivery. Through precise and timely work, D&B strives to establish a foundation for long-term relationships with all of our customers regardless of the complexity or volume of the work demanded.
